Good UI, glad its free, but man, that's that a bad TTS voice. We can do better
This extension has saved my life. I physically cannot keep myself concentrated on reading and this extension keeps me on track when I have it read things to me out loud and I follow along. This has made school and work assignments so much easier for me. Sometimes it can't read certain things like scanned PDFs but it works on everything else.

used to be a god send for when i used it a month ago for college but for some now it doesn't work at all how i want it too
does what it should! and effectively. the voices are robotic but honestly it doesn't bother me much
Very functional - if you can stomach severely outdated robot voices.
The three standard voices are very machine sounding. There is not a clear documentation to enable the Google Speech API (That I can find).
